France is isolated in St. Petersburg and Europe, too....

In a few weeks France, as the great power that it is (or that it unjustifiably thinks it is) has become an isolated country. The degradation was not whispered but happened on stage under the global under the global public opinion lights: unfortunately for Paris, this time the G20 summit was hosted in St. Petersburg, in Russia, where Vladimir Putin, the host was being celebrated. Althought it is known that Putin is against international attacks to Syria, the Russian leader did not play the role of the defender of Assad to the bitter end, but said he is in favor of the attack on Syria if it is authorized by UN. In St. Petersburg, Hollande ended up looking like an amateur, while the united Europe played the role of the ghost, since the various countries that make it up each have their own viewss on the issue. The US, which for his strength and role should have dominated the scene, ended up playing the role of the undecided country. While Putin, the Russia's leader, who is a Machiavellian politician like few others, ended up looking like the director....
