RIVERS AND BORDERS IN LIGURIA

The Vara, in the east, and the Varo, in the west, near Nizza (Nice), are the borders of the ancient Ligurians. The root "va" that in ancient Celtic-Ligurian means acqua like "watter" in ancient German, means thus the water of the tewo rivers.
